Activism Laboratory

co-creation space

World of Tolerance, part of the global Activist Lab alliance, supports young activists with capacity-building and media-literacy programs. We have brought together over 35 youth activists from all around the world to meet up and exchange ideas in Tbilisi, held numerous online trainings and public discussions, created 10 video-animations on media hygiene, and conducted a regional Activist Lab program for 20 activists from Georgia and Armenia, sharing knowledge about media-literacy, hopeful narratives and much more.

Currently, World of Tolerance is a part of a global Activist Lab alliance, a consortium of 9 organisations from Peru, Lebanon, the Netherlands, and Tanzania, and a smaller consortium between WoT, Justice&Peace (the Netherlands) and African Human Rights Network (Tanzania) within the platform “Activism Laboratory''. This project is dedicated to supporting local young activists by providing capacity building opportunities and co-creation space, primarily focusing on the media-literacy and digital security. Within the framework of the project, World of Tolerance has hosted 35 guests from all the consortium countries, developed 10 video-animations about media-literacy and held multiple public and closed discussions with local activists in Georgia. In 2024, within the Activist Lab project, we conducted a Regional Activist lab for Georgian and Armenian activists, joined a global platform in Istanbul with a delegation of 6 most dedicated activists, and will support grass-root initiatives with election monitoring process.
